Exceptional cocktails start with celebrating the traditions of those who have gone before us. That’s why we named our company Black’s—to pay homage to the bartender who made the first Manhattan cocktail in the 1860s at a bar on Broadway near Houston Street in New York City.

One of the best pairings we have ever stumbled upon was during a recent couples culinary night of skillet-seared New York prime steaks combined with Black’s 66 barrel Aged cocktail. The mild sweetness from the 66 Old Fashioned was the perfect counterpoint, yet featured perfectly with the steak. The steak’s prepared with butter, kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper, along with other side dishes, couples with a fully garnished 66 Old Fashioned, was truly a match made in heaven!
